Looking for some very cool and alternative wedding decorations? Take a look at this post! This lovely bride is so passionate about nature that she decided to have her wedding Forest Themed, it was so beautifully designed! For one thing, it was a 100% D.I.Y. wedding. Sophie's brother helped with the reception decorations, while her dad did all the "technical" bits. The placeholders for examples, were all handcrafted by him, we personally think Sophie's dad made an amazing job! Cakes, cupcakes, sweets, everything recalled an ancient forest. Even the signing book was a tree! With a green ink you had to fingerprint the leaves and sign them, fantastic idea!
Take a look yourselves!
There were so many children attending the wedding that Sophie (she had two beautiful boys herself) could not pretend it was a no-children wedding! I am sure she thought about them when decorating the room.
I think this is a great example of D.I.Y wedding, it looked so professional and although full of details, it looked so simple!
The ceremony also was quite unique. Sophie and Tom got married outdoor, in the backyard of the lovely Trout Inn, Tadpole Bridge. They were so lucky with the weather that the bride could be barefeet!!
Well, what else can I say?
Enjoy the photos! :)
