3 ways to incorporate your pre wedding photos into your wedding - Blog exchange with

October 18, 2017

Just a a few weeks ago we were contacted by, a beautiful website that blogs about weddings, family life, children and babies and we were asked if we were up to a collaboration, and sure we were!! We exchanged blogs and LocoFamily came up with 3 fantastic ways to incorporate your pre wedding photos into your wedding. As you may already know, we offer pre wedding photoshoots as part of our wedding packages (but you can also decide to go just for an engagement session) and in several occasions we listed the benefits of having one, you can have a look at what we think about pre wedding sessions and their importance just here. gave you 3 extra reasons to opt for an engagement session before your big day!

Have a look below and feel free to leave a comment, we'd love to read your opinion and share your experience with pre wedding sessions!

"The romantic photos of your pre wedding shoot are most of the time used for your personal gallery. However, there are a lot of different possibilities to incorporate your beautiful and romantic pictures during the whole wedding day. The photos show your character and who you are as a couple and are therefore the perfect day to make your wedding even more personal. Here’s 3 ways to incorporate your pre wedding photos into your wedding.

1 - Set the tone with pictures on your invitations

Sometimes brides and grooms use a picture made with a mobile phone for their wedding invitations. However, most of the settings and décor are not really what you want your first impression of your wedding day to be. High quality images will get your save the date cards or wedding invitations to the next level and set the tone for your wedding day. Using your pre wedding photos for your wedding invitations is a great way to use these romantic and high quality photos.

2- Personalised wedding favours with photos

Just as you can incorporate your pre wedding photos into your wedding invitations, you can also add them to your wedding favours. This is not only a great way to match your favours to your wedding invitations, but also perfect for personalising the wedding favours. When it comes to personalising your wedding favours design, LocoMix goes further than most wedding suppliers. They have developed an online Design Tool, which gives you the opportunity to create the most personal thank you notes, stickers and wrappers. At you will have the option to upload your pictures in their design tool and add them to any design of your liking! This way you can create the most personal favours and incorporate your pre wedding shoot pictures. Should you have any problems with the Tool or should you have questions about one of LocoMix’ favours, simply contact them via e-mail or telephone. They’re happy to help you with your own personalised wedding favours!

3- Personal and unique decoration

Photos are a great way of decorating the reception or dinner space. They make the venue more personal. There are a lot of different options regarding the use of pictures at the venue. You can choose to have a clothes line with all kinds of pictures on it. Use clothes pins to hang the pre wedding shoot pictures and add all kinds of polaroid pictures of you and your guests during the day. One tip, make sure the clothing line is out of the reach of children. Another option is to have your pre wedding pictures printed in black and white and hang them on the walls of the venue. Make sure that they match the décor for the most impact."
