Our new wedding photography adventure in Bristol - A new branch for Benni Carol Photography

March 3, 2017

Moving home is always a stressful experience, moving city can be anything between being very stressful and being very exciting! Moving your wedding photography business from Cambridge to Bristol is definitely every possible combination of feelings you can think of! :) But here we are now, happier than ever, ready to start a new adventure in a whole new part of the UK! Weddings in these surrounding areas are not new to us, we have been lucky enough to photograph the great wedding of Nicola and Patrick in Exmoor National Park at the beautiful venue Little Quarme Cottages; only recently we photographed the gorgeous wedding of Lou and Ben at Merriscourt, chipping Norton, right in the heart of the Cotswolds and we really cannot wait to start our brand new wedding photography adventure in Bristol.

Bristol by far is one of the most beautiful cities Carol has lived in. It is so vibrant and vital, it seems to be like the perfect environment for a photographer, it's young and artistic, creative and inspiring, it is everything a wedding photographer needs in order to find the right inspiration to create different and alternative wedding images. As our frequent readers already know, our style aims to be quite alternative and natural, yet documentary and fine art and Bristol, as well as Gloucestershire, looks like it can give us the right amount of creative ideas.

This is the description of Bristol taken from visitbristol.co.uk and it couldn't have been more accurate in describing what the city feels like:

"If ever there was a city with a story to tell, it’s Bristol.  Enveloped in the hills of South West England, it has a distinctive identity that outrivals anywhere else. Grounded in roots from centuries past, passionate locals and spirited fans have helped carve out its character ever since.

It’s not hard to see why writers, film directors, artists, actors, scientists, musicians and architects have sought inspiration here.

Famed for its passionate character and its maritime history, and for the acres of parkland and sustainable approach that earned it European Green Capital status, Bristol has created its own distinctive identity.

Year-round festivals, award-winning cycle tracks, gastronomy of every flavour in rejuvenated warehouses and behind secret doorways, stunning cityscapes and awe-inspiring street art, Bristol doesn’t just buzz, it thumps.

Compact enough to get around on foot, yet big enough to boast an exciting line-up of entertainment, Bristol has much to offer."

Carol only moved a couple of weeks ago so we still have so much to explore. Ideally we would like to update you every now and then on new discoveries and on Benni Carol's new wedding experiences! we really hope Bristol will take us to beautiful adventurous places like Brecon Beacon, Snowdonia, Cotswolds, Somerset.. everyone that knows us also knows how much we love mountains, nature, great outdoors and we really cannot wait to express our passion through our wedding photography, so.. stay tuned and watch this space, so many exciting things are coming!!
