Destination wedding photographer Rome | An intimate day, spent with the warm love of the closest family through one of the most beautiful and most charming cities in the world, Rome.
There is definitely something special about deciding to spend your wedding day in such an intimate way. Instead of having a big wedding, with a big ceremony and a more formal reception, Kay and James decided to keep it as simple and as intimate as possible and to share this one special moment alone with their beautiful kids.
Coming from London, they both fell in love with Rome years back, so it came only natural to celebrate their most important day around its ancient beauties.
They got ready at Palazzo Manfredi(Rome) where they had one room overlooking the Colosseum. The room was designed in a way that they could not see each other while getting ready and still both share this same moment with both their two children.
Taking pictures of such a loving dad getting his two boys ready for his wedding day, was one of the sweetest things we have photographed this year. Also, the two customised buttonholes were such a unique piece!
They rented a vintage van with Italian Vintage Garage so they could have a tour through the most beautiful sites in Rome (from the Colosseum to the Fori Imperiali, from Castel Sant'Angelo to San Pietro and of course, we were just so excited to follow them on their day and take wedding pictures in the most iconic places in the whole city.
The ceremony was celebrated at Santa Maria in Tempulo, a former church situated in Caracalla, from where this super fun and warm-hearted tour of the city began!
The day was planned by Veronica Regis wedding planner an amazing wedding planner based in Rome and central Italy, with whom we had the chance to work on many occasions in the past (can't wait for the future weddings to come too)!
On the team there was a dear friend of ours, the most talented videographer Fulvio Greco at Fulvio Greco Films.
To complete the dream family there was Andrea (at Italian Vintage Garage), the nicest and most knowledgeable guy in the entire Rome, who can take you around its beauties with his charming vintage vans and cars, making you really feel a true experience.
Well, what else can we add?! I guess the pictures will talk for themselves, hopefully we have managed to convey all the joy and the love of such a fantastic day!
Please, take us back to it and forgive us for selecting so many photos!! It was impossible this time to come down to a more sensible number!!
Thank you guys for making us part of your own fantastic adventure.
