I guess at this point it is no secret anymore that Benni Carol Photography has now two key branches, one still in the UK with Benni based in Hastings and still covering the UK side of the business, and one based in Florence, Tuscany, with Carol (myself) spreading the word throughout central Italy :)
Florence doesn't really need much introduction, it's probably one of the most famous cities in the world and it's not hard to understand why. Even now that I have been living here since September, it still continues to amaze me with its beauty.
I would have never imagined that being a wedding photographer based in Florence, Tuscany would have been so wonderful. I only just started to realise how lucky I am to be surrounded by such wonderful places. Whether I want to shoot an engagement session in the heart of Florence or on the Tuscan hills, I can't really go wrong with any of these options. Let alone the fact that I am so close to so many other Italian regions, like Umbria, such a popular destination wedding area in Central Italy.
I started the shooting sessions in Florence only a couple of days ago, with the most beautiful couple, Vero & Fede. We had so much fun, sometimes it doesn't really feel like working, you just take pictures of two lovely people while you walk through one of the most beautiful cities in the world, it feels more like being on a holiday all the time!!
Well, I leave you with a few pictures from the session in Florence, I simply cannot wait to shoot all the fantastic couples that I have on the list :)
My next adventure will be Florence again, with Rome just a few days after, followed by another session in Umbria, I really cannot wait!!
A HUGE thank you to Vero & Fede for being so special, thank you guys!
Benni & Carol xx
Locations covered on this pre-wedding session in Florence: Santa Maria del Fiore (Florence Cathedral), Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Loggia dei Lanzi, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, Piazzale Michelangelo, Il Giardino delle Rose
