THE IMPORTANCE OF A PRE WEDDING

PHOTO SHOOT

If you had to ask us which is the most common thing future brides normally tell us during a pre wedding consultation, we would definitely say: "We love your photos and we really want to spare a good half an hour for the couple pictures on the wedding day, but just to let you know, my fiance' hates having his photographs taken, I hope this will not be a problem!"

If you are amongst those brides with a shy husband-to-be, well be reassured that it is definitely not a problem! It is indeed our job to make sure you both enjoy the experience and you both do not feel embarassed or out of place in front of the camera. As we always like underlining during the pre wedding chat, we will never force you to do something that does not feel like you, we always work around your personalities and we will never alter your nature, it is simply not the way we work and it would be definitely against our idea of natural wedding photography.

Having said that though, it is true that spending a little bit of time in front of the camera before the actual wedding day, does make a difference, in some cases it does make a big difference. Some people are just naturals, some others probably are too, they just don't know it yet! That's why we always strongly recommend to have a pre wedding photo shoot before your most important of days, it just helps to make things much easier and to actually nail the moment of the couple pictures.

A pre wedding photo shoot is the perfect occasion to get to know each other a little bit better; it's the perfect occasion for you to understand how we work and for us to understand how you react in front of the camera. It is a nice way to learn a few tricks that make things so much smoother during the wedding day and to make the most out of our photography. Without mentioning how nice it is to have a last beautiful memory of you two before becoming a married couple! An why not, you can always use one of the pre wedding photos for your wedding invitations or you can use them for your wedding website or just to send around family and friends and tell everyone that you are getting married!

A pre wedding photo shoot is normally up to two hour long and it takes place in a location of your choice (in the London area or in the Cambridgeshire area). It can take place in an urban environment or in a more "natural" situation, like a park or a forest for example. At the end of the pre wedding photo shoot you will receive up to 100 professionally edited pictures, delivered on a personalised CD. The images will be in HD so you will be able to print them out as many times as you want and in the size you wish.

In the gallery here below, you willl find a few examples of our pre wedding portfolio. We also put the link to three of our favourite pre wedding albums, but you can find many more if browsing our Blog just here.

If you wish to go for our Package 2 or Package 3, there will be included a two hour pre wedding photo shoot and also a beautiful Coffe Table Album 12x12" (with package 2) or a Lay Flat Album 10x10" (with package 3) with a selection of the best photos from your wedding.
